A crazy thought

I had an idea, and I don't want to turn this into a drugs debate but more of a way to create a production with a bit of a hook.

My bizarre idea was to get cast and crewed stoned before shooting and shoot a short stoned. Ergo, the acting is strange, slow, thoughtful, the camera work is shoddy but in a possibly different way. Who knows, LOL.

Just use cheap equipment ._.

Actually man, it just makes for a more relaxed set. Work goes slower though. And the director perhaps wisely abstained.

Getting stoned probably is the only drug the crew can take and still work properly.

A totally different effect will be mushrooms or something trippy like that. But the thing is, the crew sees things the audience doesn't, so the point might not get across totally.

Maybe Speed will have some funny effects.

Anyways, I think its a pretty cool idea.

This is the kind of idea that seems like it would be brilliant, but will turn out to be shite.
Im sure you'll all have a great time, but if you think it'll come across on the film then think again.
Unless you use the drugs to power some powerful ideas and acting all you'll do is have a fun days shooting and waste a bunch of videotape.
Ever heard of ACTING?, or DIRECTING? Very few 'drugged' performances you'll see in the pictures are genuine.
The original cut of Easy rider was edited by Dennis Hopper whilst totally boxed, and it took him months, and it was unwatcheable - Hours and Hours of bikes riding across the desert. And Dennis Hopper is talented (or at least lucky).
